KLM has an interesting and well lauded out lounge at their hub in Amsterdam. The lounge is called the Crown Lounge which follows the Royal theme of the KLM logo which feautres a crown.
Until recently security was at each gate, which prevented passengers from grabbing Waters in the terminal to drink onboard. It also created long lines without many distinction for premium cabin passengers.
A variety of dishes are available from various buffet points, these are refiled constantly during the day.
A large variety of alcoholic beverages are available in self-serve or better said.. self-pour mode...
Overall the lounge has a open feel with a variety of food and beverages on offer. One of my favorite parts is the self serve Heineken machine.
After a short time in the lounge it was time to catch my flight to Lisbon.
