This lovely Bed and Breakfast occupies a mini Tudor village located next to Hever Castle. It was built in the early 20th Century and serves as an ideal spot to explore Hever Castle. Bookings can be made on major sites and a variety of rooms are available, all of which include an excellent breakfast in a large hall room which makes you go back in time.

There are a variety of rooms with whimsical names such as Snowdrop, Lavender and other floral themes.

We have stayed here on various occasions and love the Tudor era. Before visiting I highly recommend either watching the TV series "The Tudors" or the movie the "The Other Boleyn Girl" as they can give you a bit of history and information on Anne Boleyn and the role of the Castle over the years...

Hever Castle is famous as the childhood home of Queen Anne Boleyn, the Second wife of King Henry VIII and she was raised in this property with her sister Mary and brother George. The property passed through several hands and in the late 1800s Astor bought the property and renovated it bringing it back to its well deserved glory.

If you stay at the Bed and Breakfast admission is included. We bought the audio-guide at a cost of £3.50 each as it provides additional information and commentary. It was our first time at the property during Christmastime.

Breakfast is the highlight of the stay with a variety of Hot dishes as well as tasty fruit, cold cuts, local cheese and pastries available buffet style.

For my first breakfast I ordered the full English Breakfast with scrambled eggs...

On the second day, I had the poached eggs with English breakfast while my wife had Eggs Benedict both days..

Food options during the rest of the day are limited to a cafe/grill which is open for lunch or walking about 500 meters (carefully as it on the road) to a local pub King Henry VIII which has been in operation.
