One of the perks of living in Europe is that some of the nicest places on earth are a short flight away. My wife even before we met, loved to spend her summers on the French Riviera and has passed the interest in this area on to me.
We spent a week towards the end of the summer in Cannes and spent most days at the Cartlon - Intercontinental beach. There are various private beaches along the Croisette but the Carlton has some of the best sun beds.
