A few weeks ago, I had to fly back for Business with my wife to our old home New York and since I had a few eVip (an upgrade voucher used on AA) left, I decided to upgrade us on our trip across the pond. Traveling Teddy Bear was a stowaway on our flight and enjoyed her ice cream sundae...
Our flight was operated a reconfigured Boeing 772 with Business Class, Main Cabin Extra and Main Cabin. Our trip was in Business Class in the forward facing seats.
Classic cheap AA, lovely cabin but went cheap on the place-mats!

Both myself and my wife pre-ordered our dishes...
I decided to try the Monkfish (called the Poor man's lobster) which I found to be surprisingly tasty. Never had that fish before and I've reordered it at a restaurant recently, so kudos AA for introducing me to the dish and FlyerTalk for the Poor man's lobster line
Monkfish Filet served with king crab fried rice, black bean sauce and edamame
My wife was not as hungry as me and went with the Pasta dish which in this case was:
Truffle and Ricotta Stuffed Ravioli with Alfredo sauce and wild mushrooms
Of course I ordered a sundae as desert with caramel dressing with nuts and whipped cream.

AA setups a snack bar in the galley for mid-flight snacking across the pond. A variety of small wraps and cups with cheese and fruit are available.

Prior to landing a light meal was offered with a tasty grilled sandwich as one of the options, I try to enjoy my flights so ordered the unhealthy option. 😜
