SATA / Azores Airlines 220
PDL (Ponta Delgada) - LIS (Lisbon)
Airbus 330 - Business Class

Azores Airlines formally SATA operates an Airbus 330-200 (CS-TRY) which had formally operated with Royal Jordanian and originally with Air Comet.

I had a chance to fly this plane earlier this week from Ponta Delgada, Azores to Lisbon, Portugal. This flight originates in Boston, Massachusetts, makes a quick stop in the Azores and then continues to Lisbon, Portugal.

The SATA/Azores Airlines lounge in Ponta Delgada is pretty small and a bit dark but serves the needs of the airline. The lounge can also be accessed with various cards such as Priority Pass and other cards.

Boarding is done either by buses or by walking to the plane as the small airport does not have air-bridges.

For some reason I was directed to board from the back, which while helped me with the cabin photos.
Economy is a 2-4-2 seating configuration.

Bulkhead seats provide decent legroom.

Business Class is configured in a 2-2-2 seating with a slopped seat.

Sadly, the plane was configured with IFE at each seat but sadly there was no IFE loaded on the plane.

Non-functioning IFE!

Absolutely disgusting breakfast omelette, supposedly it was a Mushroom omelette but had the consistency of old-plastic.
