I was off on my way to Brazil, when LifeMiles offered me a crazy routing (HKG-PEK-FRA-LIS-GIG) which would allow me to try out some new routes and plane configurations.
The flight was operated by an ancient Airbus 330. I had no clue that this type of configuration was still offered. It felt straight out of the 2000s. This cabin had an IFE with a few channels on loop.
The seat was OK for a day flight, but not that great for sleeping...
