The Loft by Brussels Airlines - Lounge Review

I hadn't been through Brussels Airport in a few years, but this time I had a business trip which gave me the opportunity to try out the new lounge and see how it was decorated during the Christmas period. 

One of the nice things about BRU is that there is a full supermarket land-side which allows you to pickup Belgian chocolates or beverages just before check-in for your flight.

Security was a breeze and then just a short walk to the lounge.   

The highlight was the variety of Belgian beers available on tap across the lounge.

Overall the lounge had a few good meal options which were served in a buffet style. there was also a few nice coffee machines spread out across the lounge.

As it is the case with many lounges , overcrowding can be an issue during peak travel times. But the lounge staff does a pretty good job replenishing the food in the buffet and cleaning up dirty glasses and dishes.  

The Christmas theme was visible all across the lounge with a variety of decorated Christmas trees...
