Talk about an odd flight, LATAM seems to operate a Fifth Freedom flight between Miami and Punta Cana with service on their Boeing 787s. These are an improvement over American which services the route with narrow-bodied planes. Now do you really need a lie-flat for a 2 hour flight, not really... But sure adds a special start to a vacation.
Also valid over Xmas and New Years (only Saturday flights) for those looking to visit family in the Dominican Republic and have lots of bags as you can check in 3 pieces of luggage with LATAM in Business.
