It seems that as of October 18, Iberia and British flights (and their codeshares) earn based upon spend as if they were an American flight BUT it seems you can book as Finnair flight numbers which should earn as a % of distance FOR NOW... Although on such a short flight it might make sense to earn based upon spend.
