Virgin Atlantic has a decent sale for travel from Washington DC to Johannesburg via London which provides an excellent way to collect Delta MQDs and MQMs.
Delta reduced earnings on partner airlines so instead of 40% of distance as MQDs it's only 30%. There are no more MQMs but only RDMs in the calculations. Please let us know if there are any mistakes as we incorporate the new earnings in our models.
IAD-JNB would earn 2310 MQDs 1.08 MQD Ratio while Delta Diamond members would obtain 24637 RDMs, Platinum 21557 RDMs, Gold 20017 RDMs, Silver 18478 RDMs, Base 15398 RDMs
