Air India is not one of our favorite airlines at PremiumCabin.Deals but they have published an attractive rates from Sydney to Milan via New Delhi. Longish connection on the return but you can build a Stopover for almost the same price (just some added taxes).
These fares book into Z class which credits at 200% to Aegean and SAS or 41240 miles, 100% to United or 20620 miles and 150% to Lufthansa Miles and More or 30930 miles and at 125% to many other Star Alliance programs or 25776 miles.
