Air India is not one of our favorite airlines at PremiumCabin.Deals but they have published an attractive rates from Milan to Melbourne via New Delhi. Longish connection on the return but you can build a Stopover for almost the same price (just some added taxes).
These fares book into Z class which credits at 200% to Aegean or 40932 miles, 100% to United or 20446 miles and 150% to Lufthansa Miles and More or 30699 miles and at 125% to many other Star Alliance programs or 25584 miles.
