The longish layovers in Manila on the return can be compensated by the history of Intermuros (the old colonial city) or a visit to Corregidor Island (sometimes called the Gibraltar of the East) so the layover can work for some travelers, but not all...

Now, we must be honest... the cabin configuration is not the greatest... 2-3-2 seating with non lie-flat seats in 2025 is pretty sub-par.
