The Everest Express: Flying in the Himalayas!

Earlier this year I visited my 100 Country: Nepal a land of extreme beauty, both natural and man made, of course there are major issues of poverty and lack of infrastructure but overall a lovely destination.

I booked myself a trip to see Everest, this was an absolutely incredible experience with the pictures not doing justice. The plane is a Jetstream41 a new type for me and while the configuration is 1-2 it is sold as 1-1 to ensure everyone has a window seat.

My flight departed at 7 am flight, these operate subject to the fog and weather issues that plague KTM airport.

The flight lasted about an hour and the view was spectacular making this a must do if visiting Nepal. We got to within 5 miles of Mount Everest!
