Yerevan, Armenia's capital is of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. I had two days in the city and decided to take advantage of time in the country and take a tour to visit several of the historical churches and sites near Yerevan.
Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. It is known as the two story Church.
The church is located in a mountainous valley creating a spectacular setting for this historical church.
