Kenya Airways is having a nice sale from Dubai to Maputo, Mozambique vía Nairobi.

Mozambique was until 1975 a Portuguese colony and the influence of that era is visible in the architecture of the city, where many buildings date to the colonial period. The city has had a variety of new buildings and now the tallest/longest suspension bridge in Africa is being built with Chinese funds/assistance. Here is our Trip Report on Maputo.

Depending on the day you can get a Boeing 787 or 737 for the DXB-NBO segment while the NBO-MPM is on an Embraer 190.

Sadly these fares book into O Class so no miles for Delta flyers but they due credit into FlyingBlue. 15 XPs for MPM-NBO and 24 XPs for NBO-DXB for a grand total of 78 XPs.
