Some solutions as the SriLankan run allows you to obtain Oneworld Sapphire status for under £1200, but with this Travel Hack you can get it at an even lower rate
American Airlines published one-way fares between Washington DC, Boston or New York to Raleigh but with the chance to have 3 segments per flight. So you can do DCA-PHL-CLT-RDU for $167 and collect 120 Tier Points.
You could do 5 of these trips and collect 600 Tier Points, you would just need a hop across the pond and 4 BA segments to obtain Oneworld Sapphire status (and lounge access on domestic AA flights) for USD 835. We used sample dates in 2021.
